The picture to the right was taken before my colleagues and I presented our program on, "Poetic Justic: Tales and Triumphs
of African American Doctoral Students. The program focused on how to manage being the "only" one at a prodominately white
counseling education department interms of getting mentorship and combating the invisbility syndrome.
What's next on the agenda?
I will present at ACES this October 2005. The programs are entitled: "3 Amiogos-How to teach with multiple instructors"
and " Double Jeopary: Being Black & Female inthe Academy.
